Museum Bramberg "Wilhelmgut": history comes alive
See a variety of cultural items on display from the village and the region in the Museum Bramberg. Don’t miss the exhibition "Mensch und Kultur" (Eng. "Man and Culture"), in which history comes alive, and the special focus exhibition of paintings by the renowned painter Josef Stoitzner on the attic floor. National park exhibit "Smaragde und Kristalle" in Museum Bramberg
Among the other highlights in Bramberg's museum are the lighted display cabinets showcasing the crystal treasures of the national park exhibit "Smaragde und Kristalle" (Eng. “Emeralds and Crystals"). Be enchanted by the great variety of shapes and unique aesthetics when seeing the biggest cairngorm of the Eastern Alps, a series of fluorites, sphenes and mountain crystals, and select emeralds. Animations and film footage introduce you to the natural mineral deposit and mining of days long gone.
This destination in the Hohe Tauern gives you a closer look at genuine regional handicraft tradition. The Women of the Salzburger Wollstadel make scarves, woollen blankets, caps, woollen carpets, clothing and much more from sheep wool. Additionally, felt courses are offered.

Finding and processing minerals is a long-standing tradition in the Steiner family. Marvel at astonishing finds from three generations on 70 m² in the family’s house. Minerals and individual, hand-made jewellery items are offered in the salesrooms.
