Hikes throughout the Obersulzbachtal
Hiking options around your 4-star hotel
Hopffeldboden (1,050 m) | Berndlalm (1,514 m) | Kürsingerhütte (2,548 m)
Walking times: from the Hopffeldboden parking area: Berndlalm 2 h | Postalm 3 h | Kürsingerhütte approx. 6 h
Directions: Starting point is the Hopffeldboden parking area in the Obersulzbachtal. From here you have the options of changing to the left side of the Obersulzbach (traffic-free hiking trail) via the small bridge and hiking to the Berndlalm on the slightly longer trail. The steep hiking trail leads down to the stream on the left and, on the eastern side of the valley, to the Kampriesenalm through mostly forestland. A path branches off to the left of the forest road a few minutes after the alp huts, which allows you to cross the ditches without losing altitude to reach the forest path to the Berndlalm soon after. There’s a great view of the Seebachfall and Gamseckfall just before the Berndlalm. Alternately, hike across the road to the Berndlalm. Go another hour along the road to the Postalm.
Other hiking options: Gletscherweg, Seebachsee, Kürsingerhütte, one-and-a-half-day tour Grossvenediger, Grosser Geiger.
Reach your accommodation in Bramberg after a long but rewarding day of hiking in the Obersulzbachtal and really spoil yourself. We are looking forward to meeting you!
