Whether it’s leisurely walks through wide valleys or challenging hiking tours in the Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area: around our hotel you can experience nature at close quarters.
Where there is hiking, bicycles and mountain bikes are usually not far away. The varied terrain is suitable for relaxed rides over slightly undulating terrain and strenuous tours at lofty heights to particularly beautiful vantage points.
The next highlight already awaits you at the mid-station of the Wildkogelbahn: Thanks to the new Slide Path, hiking with kids, both big and small, becomes truly great fun. On the way out towards Gasthof Stockenbaum, you will en-counter 10 stainless steel slides ranging in length between 22 and 53 m, dis-appear into tubes, plunge into hollows and whizz over the top of waves.
The 18-hole course Mittersill-Stuhlfelden with the beautiful backdrop of the national park is only a few kilometres away from our 4-star hotel. Find several more first-rate courses within a 30-minute drive.
Take the “Smaragdbahn” to 2.101. meters above sea level. Directly at the mountain station you can drive down the new, winding 4-kilometre-long mountain cart track to the middle station with the all-terrain, three-wheeled carts and scooters. A lot of fun you can’t get enough of.
Speaking of views – glide high above the earth and experience the region from a bird’s-eye view with a paraglider. A landing meadow is located right next to our hotel.
